It is a large collection of out of print old watch and clock books, magazines and publications. This member’s library is accumulating hundreds of rare and classic books compiling to a vast amount of information knowledge and historical value.
With this library Riversdale endeavours to meet the needs and growing demand for clock and watch repair and restoration knowledge by publishing well researched and assessed horological information to create a study and educational research reference point for horological historians, antique clock and watch restorers, collectors, and clock making enthusiasts.
All books and publications have been digitized and edited. Riversdale uses state-of-the-art technology to digitally reconstruct the work, preserving the original format whilst repairing imperfections present in the aged copy.
You will have downloadable access to every copy of each of the scanned books in PDF format. The PDF will be a replica of the book in exactly the condition it was available to us, so that will necessarily mean that the book will have inevitable signs of ageing. Some of the books in our collection are over 100 years old and we are sure you are aware it is not possible to maintain a book in pristine condition for that length of time. In addition any marks made by the previous owners will also be present. We hope you do not consider that to be a flaw of the publication but rather adds to its authenticity as we do.
Research and acquisition are a constant, and books are continually being added to the collection.
