This is just a follow-up on the construction. My wife and I have been working on the face. I have done the time track and she does the painting.

This is my first time at drawing a time track and I must say that I really enjoyed it despite it being rather tedious. It’s not perfect but OK.  Here’s photo of the time track.

My wife has started to paint the face with some bird and floral decoration based again upon the study of old painted faces. Here’s another photo.

She is painting the spandrels now, so I’ll leave her alone to do her work and I’ll start staining the clock case.
