My Longcase Construction

Hello,

I am posting some additional photos and information of my grandfather clock construction. It has been an interesting process since I have wandered/stumbled into new territory. I hadn’t done thin veneers before so I approached it carefully, especially since the burl walnut costs so much.

I researched many methods of attaching veneers but decided on the iron-on proceedure since I had done this when building radio controlled model airplanes and it worked well there so–.

Again it worked very well and is fast. I highly recommend it.   Here’s a photo of the clock as it is now.
